Two sisters. Two voices. One archive of everything that made us feel.

We are Jay and May; sisters by chance, writers and creators by choice.

This space, Ink&Archives, began the way many stories do: in the quiet moments between conversations, in scribbled notebooks, and in voice notes sent across time zones. We have always shared stories, never as little girls but as young adults who spin tales for each other, and now as women learning to navigate the world, still holding onto words like anchors.

Though we write differently; one softer, the other a little stormier, we are guided by the same things: curiosity, nostalgia, and a deep love for the ordinary. A good book, an unforgettable line from a film, a train ride, a fleeting feeling, we collect them here, turning memory into meaning.

This blog is our shared journal. A place where stories breathe, where poems linger, and where thoughts too fragile for everyday conversation finally find their voice.

Keep reading to know about us individually. 🙂

About me - Jay

Jay (Jane – penname)

Jane Austen in Sofia Coppola’s Universe!

A quiet corner where words take centre stage.

I’m Jay (or Jane), a writer and storyteller drawn to the beauty of human experience. While I may seem reserved at first, my world is filled with stories, from heartfelt poems and thoughtful blogs to travel notes and cultural reflections.

I write to connect, express, and carve out a space for quiet, meaningful exploration. My inspirations come from books, drama, series, films, fleeting conversations, and all those places I have wandered, all woven into words that linger in my head.

This blog is my growing archive of thoughts, feelings, and ideas, made for anyone who finds comfort in the written word.

May these words offer you what they offered me: comfort, clarity, and a place to belong.

About Us - May

May/Mrudula

Imagine Virginia Woolf with an Instagram filter.

Hi, I’m May (or Mrudula), a journalism student, writer, and creative spirit finding magic in the everyday.

With experience in media and radio, I have spent the past year telling stories that connect, from scripting as a content producer to writing social media copy that resonates. I believe in the power of words to spark feelings and create conversation.

Inspired by people, culture, and moments that feel like films, I document real-life fragments, soft, chaotic, or quietly powerful and give them a voice, like tuning into a gentle radio.

This space is my creative archive where I gather what moves me, one story at a time.
